JO DEE'S MUSIC ROW ROAD RACE RAISES $100K FOR ST. JUDE

Curb artist Jo Dee Messina’s inaugural MUSIC ROW ROAD RACE 5K and concert at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon helped raise $100,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Over 800 runners participated in the event, which was held Saturday (5/16) in Music City.
Jo Dee packed 'em in at the Wildhorse, where she performed an acoustic show for two hours without a set list, taking requests and answering questions from the audience. She'll return to Nashville on June 13th for the 2009 CMA Music Festival, where she'll perform at the Riverfront Stage. Her fan club party will be held the following day (6/14).

Jo Dee Messina enjoys running and has completed several 'full' and 'half' marathons. Well now she's set to use her running prowess for good and will be a part of the inaugural Music Row Road Race coming up on Saturday, May 16, in Nashville. The 5K and celebrity fun run is sponsored by Cracker Barrel and will begin and end at the Country Music Hall of Fame and will benefit St. Jude's.
Jo Dee says, "I am thrilled to hook up with the folks at St. Jude. The Run/Walk is a healthy way to raise money for a place that makes such a huge difference in people's lives."
