Also added to the schedule: a five-night residency March 16-20 at New York City's intimate Feinstein's at the Regency, the stage for which will be modeled after Messina's own music room at home.
"Unmistakable," Messina's first album of new material since 2005's "Delicious Surprise," will hit shelves April 13.
"This tour is whatever the audience wants," Messina stated in a recent interview with Las Vegas Weekly. "We do a couple songs then we flip it over to the audience and they make requests, so no two shows are the same."
Messina broke onto the country music scene with her self-titled debut, which surfaced in 1996. Since then, the performer has churned out nine No. 1 singles among five studio albums, as well as earned a Grammy nomination and a 1998 win for Top New Female Vocalist at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
