JO DEE TAKES AMERICAN MORNING TO NASHVILLE MUSICAL LANDMARKS UNDERWATER

(CNN) – As flood waters recede, people across Tennessee are beginning to assess the damage, which in many cases is catastrophic. 19 people have died in Tennessee alone in some of the worst flooding the state has ever seen.

Nashville is one of the areas hardest hit. The damage there could top a billion dollars. Among the casualties of the disastrous flooding is the Grand Ole Opry, the music city's historical landmark and a mecca for country music performers and fans. Our Martin Savidge has the report from Nashville.
