Hollywood Teen'Zine caught up with country superstar Jo Dee Messina in Nashville last week during the CMA Festival. Jo Dee kindly invited Hollywood Teen'Zine to cover her Fan Club Party that took place at the Listening Room Cafe, a small acoustic set up that is loved by many artists because of the pure sound that resonates throughout their show. Over 1000 registered runners for the 2nd Annual St Judy Music Fest Road Race on June 12th. Starting at State Court House in downtown Nashville, runners completed a 5K run/walk to help raise money for St Jude. Jo Dee's own team, Team Messina raised the most money and took home several awards including becoming a St Jude Hero and spent time with Jo Dee during and after the Race. Team Leader also took home 2nd Place in Womens in her age group. Jo Dee was thankful for all the people involved in the race and working so hard to raise money for St. Jude. In total, more than $27,000 had been generated through registration fees and team supporters by the time an early one-mile “Fun Run” for kids had ended and runners from ages 6 to 80 were lined up to start the 5k at 8 AM, Friday, June 12.

Thousands of fans were in for a treat as Jo Dee Messina took the stage at the CMA Music Fest Riverstages on Sunday. Fans got to sing along to this red-headed powerhouse and catch some of her new songs from the latest album "Unmistakable". Jo Dee shot that famous grin to the audience and asked "How many have my new album?, Well I went out and bought about a 1000 copies just for you!" and the next thing you know copies were being distributed to the fans as they came through the picture aisle. After her set she shot out that famous laugh and said "Now how many have my new album" and the crowd when wild. Jo Dee kicks off her summer tour next week to promote the new album. This year's fan club party was the most interactive ever! The party was held in Nashville's the Listening Room. Not only did fans have a chance to watch the fan club live on Ustream, they packed the venue to hear Jo Dee Messina perform and answer questions from her fan club members. She performed her hits and tracks from her new Unmistakable: Love trilogy. Jo Dee's son Noah even made a special appearance on stage!
